Well I don't know what's best for Apple growing but chances are I'd say most reputed garden because I'd assume that they'd know whats best and that if it's fresh soil, they'd be using it.
I could be very wrong but at the end of the day most average people would assume the same thing.
Now if you educated me telling me about the relationship between fresh soil and apples (if there is one) I might re-think but how am I suppose to know that the apple is true planted in soil that is fresh?
